My twin sister and I greatly enjoyed this post! We love to edit and find that it's our favorite part of writing as well. Re-writing is when the plot takes solid shape and when the character's purpose is better illuminated. For us, re-writing is the happy time when we get to carve all the superfluous babble from our manuscript. It's a great feeling. Almost like house cleaning. Thank you. This was a wonderful post.

Wait.. you LIKE re-writing? WHAAAAT?! How is this possible? What is wrong with this picture? How could this happen? Oy, maybe it's just me. I for one, HATE re-writing. I dread it from the second I start writing. But this post gave me a little hope that *maybe* just maybe, re-writing will be survive-able.

Lovely write-up about a hike I was so sad to miss. I'm surprised you expressed reluctance, but I guess it can be daunting. I think that the last 2 miles of this hike is one of the hardest trudges of all hikes. It seems to never end.

I really like the name "Walkie-Talkies". Haha!

Great website. Fun to see everything really up and running...

I live in Arizona and love the wildlife here, too. I've had coyotes, deer, and javelina, but never a bear! How exciting!

I'm hoping to become a published children's author someday. I think it's wonderful that you've had so many books published. Saving Sky sounds like a great read!
